Hello my little Vintage Darlings ♡

With the outside world being a dreamy winter wonderland today, I wanted a simple yet enchanting post for today. One that can be read while curled up with your favorite cozy blanket and a warm cup of tea. I came across this whimsical little tag. As someone who is a true dreamer at heart, I felt that it would express more of who I am and allow you loves to see who the princess behind the blog truly is.

If I were a month, I’d be: December, the month were the cold nips at your nose and snowflakes kiss the ground while sugarplums dance in your head.

If I were a day of the week, I’d be: a lazy Sunday afternoon; calming and the perfect time for a tea party ♡

If I were a planet, I’d be: Pluto; tiny, dainty, and often forgotten, but always there.

If I were a sea animal, I’d be: a beautiful dolphin ♡

If I were a god/goddess, I’d be: Antheia, the goddess of flowers and flowery wreaths ♡

If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be: an elegant mirror allowing others to see their true beauty ♡

If I were a gemstone, I’d be: Rose quartz, the stone of love ♡

If I were a flower, I’d be: a rose. Dainty, romantic, and hopelessly in love with love ♡

If I were a kind of weather, I’d be: a breezy spring day full of sunshine. Flowers would be in bloom as fairies frolicked though fields of fresh daisies in ethereal dresses. ♡

If I were a color, I’d be: Rose Gold; pink like the rising sun. Full of brilliance, love, and power, but still gentle and dreamy.

If I were an emotion, I’d be: simple happiness ♡

If I were a fruit, I’d be: fresh, little strawberries waiting to be picked ♡

If I were a sound, I’d be: The soft tapping of sprinkling rain on a spring afternoon.

If I were an element, I’d be: water because I’m a mermaid at heart ♡

If I were a place, I’d be: Disneyland; the place where magic happens, imagination runs wild, and you can feel like a princess no matter who you are. ♡

If I were a mythological creature, I’d be: A mermaid with an iridescent tail, love beach waves, and a kind heart like Ariel ♡

If I were a taste, I’d be: The warm, inviting taste of fresh brewed tea and lemon ♡

If I were a scent, I’d be: The soft, enchanting scent of marshmallows and lavender. Just like one of my favorite candles ♡

If I were an object, I’d be: a dainty, vintage tea cup; delicate and pretty ♡

If I were a body part, I’d be: the heart, a loving dreamer ♡

If I were a song, I’d be: Pink Champagne by the lovely Ariana Grande; bubbly and always looking to make the most of things ♡

If I were a pair of shoes I’d be: a simple pair of white pointed toe pumps; classy, sweet, and goes with anything ♡

Angelic Goals for February ♡

Hello my little Vintage Darlings ♡

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been a dreamer. Wishing away on wild daisies with my head up in the clouds just thinking about all the delightful things I could possibly do. I’d always get inspired by magical fairytales and my own imagination, writing down all the enchanting things I wished to do and accomplish in a dainty journal full of dreams. Whimsical thoughts and ideas would dance in my head, whispering in my ear like delicate fairies telling me to follow the magic that my heart so desired. Sadly I never listened and only kept my true wishes to my imagination.

With me being on the wonderful journey of self love and happiness this year, I’ve decided to start making those dreams come true and start living the fairytale life I’ve always wished upon the stars for.

Each month I will create lovely angelic goals that will lead me to the path of whimsical adventures, making the most of every magical moment, and letting my inner princess and true self shine through.

To keep track of all of my lovely wishes, I will share them monthly with all of you beautiful Darlings starting with the month of February.

♡ Learn about Crystals and their Magical Healing Powers – Something I’ve always been enchanted by has been beautiful crystals and the belief that they have the power to heal. Hearing so much about them, I’m aiming to learn all about the different gorgeous stones and how they can help. In doing this, I’d love to find the crystals that would be most beneficial to me and get at least one by the end of the month.

♡ Living in the moment – All too often do I find myself wishing away the current season for the next magical one instead of just enjoying what’s happening now. This leads me to feeling sad as I spent the entire time wishing it away instead of making the most of it. I’ve found myself doing this again with winter. Instead of just enjoying the time right now, I’ve been wishing for the breezy spring days and even planning out adventures. Usually when this happens and the actually season does get here, I never follow through with my dreams of a whimsical adventure because I’m too bust wishing for the next big thing. I’m choosing to change that this month. To instead start living in the now and making the most of each moment, even if it does look like a magical ice land outside.

♡ Find my way back to my art – Art is something that’s always been a huge part of my life. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been involved in the arts in some way or another; it has always been one of my true loves. To create art and make my dreams come true on the paper in front of me is such an exciting and magical feeling. I promised myself at a young age that I’d never give it up or let anyone change that about me. Sadly I’ve lost myself last year and in turn I lost my passion for art. Being creative has always helped me with dealing with stress in life, so this month is all about rediscovering my creativity even if all I do to start out are little doodles, I’ll find myself in my art again.

♡ Start a planner and bullet journal – Creating a beautifully organized planner has been something I’ve been dreaming of for a few years now. With my goals of living in the moment and rediscovering my art, what better time to start a planner? With a dreamy little planner, I can have all my thoughts organized and feel more organized as well. Bullet journaling is also something that has peaked my interest as of late as I love the idea of writing out your thoughts and wishes in an artistic way.

♡ Drink more tea – With tea being one of my most favorite things, I’d really like to start drinking more of it. There’s nothing like brewing tea in a fancy teapot and sipping it from dainty teacups; it just makes you feel so delicate! Lately I’ve been drinking more coffee than I’m used to, so I’d prefer to kick that habit and trade it in for delicious teas.

♡ Learn Lettering – Always fascinated by the delicate and careful swirls of lettering, I’d love to learn how to do it with ease. Just the intricate and fancy look of it has inspired me greatly.

With it being less than a week into this new enchanting month, I’m delighted to share that I’ve already been working towards these goals each day and will continue to do so to make my dreams into reality.

I hope this post inspires all you loves out there that no matter the time of year, you can create goals and make the wishes in heart come true. ♡

Victoria’s Secret Spring Haul ♡

Hello my little Vintage Darlings ♡
As you may be starting to see through my recent posts, I’m someone who loves dressing up like a princess on her way to a lavish ball everyday. While this is absolutely true 99% of the time, I still have a love for a cozy off duty princess look. In fact a simple laid back look can sometimes become one of my favorites. I feel that you can easily make a casual look still seem totally put together and lovely.

One of my favorite places to get clothing for some of these looks is Victoria’s Secret, particularly PINK. With it being close to Valentine’s Day and Spring, they have a ton of cute pastel items out currently and I’ve already starting purchasing some! So today I’m going to do a quick little haul of what I’ve got so far.

The first thing I got was this delicate little velvet set. I’ve been in love with velvet for so long, so I was extremely happy when PINK got in on this trend. When I saw this set I just knew I had to have it. It’s so soft, light, and has a dainty floral print that’s perfect for the spring. The best part is I got both pieces for only $10.95!

One thing I really love from Victoria’s Secret is their pajamas, especially when it comes to their Valentine’s ones. I just adore the light colors and dainty heart prints and I love girly pajamas to feel like a princess even as I drift off to dream land!

These lovely pieces were in the sleep separates section. Originally I saw the shorts first and loved how delicate they looked. There’s blush pink hearts all over the white shorts and the material is so light and airy! When I was searching for a top to match these, I came across the ribbed sleep Henley and saw the absolute most gorgeous color for spring! It’s called Harbor Grey and it’s the prettiest dusty pastel green shade. It just reminds me so much of spring and makes me want to buy everything they have in this color. Another reason I really like the Henley’s is because of the dainty lace detailing around the neck of the top. It’s adds just the tiniest touch of girlyness!

A lot of the times, my princess off duty daytime looks will actually include items that are considered sleep, but that can also look fancy when paired up with everyday clothing. I actually wore the sleep Henley with a pink tulle skirt the other day and it looked absolutely darling!

The next two pieces I bought are also sleep separates, but from the PINK side. They’re new items for spring and they’re so soft! I just had to have this pastel tie dye sleep crew, it just looked so pretty; the color of it is even more gorgeous and pastel in person. To match I got these cute, little mint green shorts and the color on these is simply adorable!

The final thing I purchased was a mini PINK backpack. I’ve been in love with PINK’s mini backpacks for years now. They’re just the perfect size for a few essentials and I love carrying them around during the spring as a little low key bag. Of course being obsessed with velvet, I just had to go with the pink velvet one. It’s so charming and I can’t wait to use it!

That’s it for part one of my spring Victoria’s Secret Haul! I really want to update my wardrobe for spring and being that I have quite the addiction to Victoria’s Secret, you will be seeing more pastel and fancy spring hauls on my blog.

Fancy note: I have changed my blog address from thelavieenrosegoldblog to lavieenrosediaries. I’ve had this blog registered to my account since August of 2015 under thelavieenrosegold blog, though it mostly remained private as I was using my other blog I also had on this account (Dylan Marvil blog). My reasoning for changing it was due to receiving a lot of hate from some girl on Twitter because of my blog name claiming I copied her despite the fact that I had my blog’s name since 2015 as well as my yahoo email address and that I didn’t know of her existence until she started sending me hate. I didn’t want to have to change my blog’s name (it actually made me really sad to do that — which is why I haven’t posted the past few days), but the hate has been going on for months and it was just too rude and disrespectful. I simply couldn’t handle it anymore as it was starting to really get to me and hurt. The fact that someone was trashing me and my blog and implying I was basically copying everything from them when I literally have no idea who they are or seen anything from them just upset me greatly. I’m very big on originality and always being yourself. I would never steal another person’s ideas and claim them as mine. There’s lots of people who use lavieenrosegold, I just chose it because I love rose gold and I love to live life through rose colored glasses. It just felt like me. I didn’t want to make this change or even talk about this as I want my blog to be a positive fairytale land, but I didn’t want me or my blog to continue to get trashed or for her to keep carrying on and make people believe that I’m nothing but a copier. Like I said I made it in 2015 and I never knew who she was until the hate. I did nothing wrong.
