How to Have an Enchanting Winter ♡ Blogmas Day 7

Hello my Sugarplum Darlings!

December is here and she’s moving as fast as the delicate snowflakes that fall from the skies above; there’s no slowing down for her. With her she brings along a little friend; a friend who happens to come with brisk days and icy nights, dainty snowflakes that frost the ground, and shorter days. It seems that winter, what once seemed so far away, is once again right around the corner.

With winter’s arrival just two short weeks away, there also comes the dread of the winter blues. Though fear not my gorgeous Sugarplums, we’re going to beat the winter blues by having a lovely enchanting winter!

These few tips are guaranteed to have you feeling like an enchanting angel in your own magical snow fairy kingdom all winter long!

♡ Wear dainty, winter themed jewelry like a sparkling snowflake necklace and little pearl earrings.

♡ Dust your eyelids with a shimmering, iridescent white glitter that glistens like the snow in the moonlight.

♡ Lightly add a rosy blush across your delicate cheeks to make it seem as if the brisk winter air kissed them ever so gently.

♡ Sweep a delicate dusting of a shimmery white highlight near your cheekbones to feel like a dainty winter fairy. For an angelic touch, add a tiny amount on the tip of your nose.

♡ Decorate your room/area with dreamy winter decor like feathery Christmas trees, twinkling white fairy lights, soft faux fur blankets, and whimsical snowflakes.

♡ Light enchanting candles that suit the winters seasons and make you feel as though you’ve drifted off into the perfect winter wonderland. Go for scents such as snowflake cookie, vanilla snowflake, or fresh sparkling snow.

♡ Put angelic curls in your hair and tie it half up/half down with a dreamy pink ribbon as though you’re Clara from The Nutcracker and you’re about to travel the land of sweets.

♡ Channel your inner snow bunny by wearing a soft faux fur collar, a cream colored sweater, and darling blush pink boots with bows. Make it extra cozy and dreamy looking by adding furry earmuffs with pearls!

♡ Dress in winter pastels like angelic blush pinks, delicate creams, and icy winter blues.

♡ Listen to The Nutcracker soundtrack while getting ready each morning. Not only is it simply dreamy to listen to, but it’ll quickly put you in a festive state of mind.

♡ Add darling knit tights to any girly, princess outfit to continue to wear your favorite dresses and skirts all season.

♡ Feel like an ethereal snow fairy by wearing an airy tulle skirt paired with graceful ballet shoes with ribbons.

♡ End the chilly winter days with a warm bubble bath. Drop in a snow fairy bath bomb from Lush for a lavish touch.

♡ Slip into cozy holiday pajamas and snuggle up with a fluffy faux fur blanket. Let the magical scenes in a Hallmark Christmas movie guide you off into a relaxed state as the sugarplum fairies begin to dance in your head.

With these dreamy tips, I hope all of you darlings have the most enchanting winter yet!

A Darling Winter Tag ♡ Blogmas Day 5

Hello my Sugarplum Darling!

We are now on day 5 of blogmas and I’m delighted to be bringing you guys a darling winter tag! I simply love doing and reading all kinds of lovely winter/holiday tags.

I honestly couldn’t decide which tag I would to participate in myself, so I actually took all of the questions I loved the most and put them into one “Darling Winter Tag!”

If any of you Sugarplums wish to answer this tag as well, feel free! I’d be excited to read your responses.

♡ What do you like best about winter?

I absolutely adore the holiday season as well as the very first snowfall. There’s just something so dreamy about the first snow flurries tumbling down from the sky and the moonlight illumination the fresh snow making it glisten.

♡ What’s your favorite holiday movie?

I have many top favorites, but if I had to choose just one, I’d say Barbie in The Nutcracker. I cherish this movie so much as I associate it with wonderful Christmas memories and childhood.

♡ Favorite holiday drink?

I’m very torn between a delicious peppermint mocha and a delightful gingerbread latte. I simply love them both too much to choose between the two!

♡ Favorite holiday song?

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays by *NSYNC. It just brings me so much joy and happy memories!

♡ Favorite winter candle scent?

Fresh Sparkling Snow and Winter Candy Apple from Bath & Body Works. Both of these scents truly capture some of my favorite smells associated with the holiday season.

♡ What is your favorite Winter memory?

My favorite Winter memory actually has to do with Barbie in The Nutcracker. I can still remember getting it on DVD for the very first time when I was only 8 years old. It was a snowy day and everything looked so enchanting all covered in the glistening snow. I was spending the day Christmas shopping with my mom and we stopped at Sam’s Club for dainty little deserts and that’s when I saw the DVD. My mom got it for me and let me have it early so I watched it as soon as I got home. It was just such a wonderful day and I’ll never forget it.

♡ Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Yes! In my family we’ve always had the tradition of opening new Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve night right before going to bed.

♡ What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

I’d have to say I really love pineapple stuffing. It’s such a sweet, warm dish that’s total holiday comfort food!

♡ Most memorable Holiday moment?

The very first time I saw George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker Ballet at the Philadelphia Academy of Music when I was 6. That was when I first fell in love with The Nutcracker.

♡ What makes the holidays special for you?

Honestly, everything about them! From the feeling of joy all around and the delightful scents twirling through the air to the twinkling of the Christmas lights; it all just feels so special and magical!

♡ Finish this sentence… If I could have one wish this Christmas it would be…

For everyone to feel pure happiness and love. ♡

A Very Merry Pinkmas ♡ Blogmas Day 3

Hello my Sugarplum Darlings!

December is one of my all time favorite months out of the year as everything is much more magical and festive. The air is brisk, the lights are twinkling, Christmas magic is everywhere you turn, and there’s joy on everyone’s faces!

Though I must say one of my absolute favorite things about December is decorating for Christmas. Getting a lovely tree, coming up with a dreamy decor theme, and purchasing new delicate ornaments brings me so much happiness.

This year for Christmas I have once again decided to go for a very ‘Pinkmas’ themed holiday! I just adore pastel pinks, rose golds, nutcracker inspired, and vintage decor for Christmas as it just looks so angelic and dreamy.

I’m ecstatic to share my holiday decor with you Sugarplum Darlings this year!

So grab your favorite fluffy Christmas blanket, a warm cup of peppermint bark tea, and enjoy this enchanting sneak peak of my whimsical Pinkmas Winter Wonderland!

For quite some time, I’ve either had a Barbie pink Christmas tree or a white one and every tree I’ve ever had was only ever 4 feet. So this year I not only decided to keep up my white tree, but also finally get a green 6 foot tree! Yes I decided to be extra this Pinkmas and have two trees.

I also decided to flock the green tree to make it that much more dreamy and bring the magic of delicate snowflakes inside.

Being that I purchased a new tree, and a taller one, I simply needed to purchase new ornaments as well.

In addition to the Simply Shabby Chic ornaments, hand blown vintage hearts, and macaron ornaments already hanging gracefully on my white tree; I went out and found some gorgeous extras to create the most enchanting pinkmas.

I not only found some darling little ornaments at Walmart for a wonderful price, but I also found a beautiful 40 count ornament set at Target that perfectly suited my aesthetic of blush pink, silver, and rose gold!

I thought they would just look so elegant hanging from my newly flocked tree.

Not only did I turn both trees into a pinkmas wonderland, but I also turned my desk into a whimsical wonderland as well!

Placing my darling blush pink nutcracker next to my Eiffel Tower and my Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe, I creating the beginnings of an ethereal pastel Christmas scene. For an added light touch, I placed my Simply Shabby Chic snow globe in front of the Too Faced hotel. Isn’t it such a dreamy snow globe?

I also left some of my usual decor up like my light up Paris sign, my Royal Albert teapot, and a dainty pot of fake flowers. I just felt it tied everything together to make it even more magical looking.

The last thing I added was my Simply Shabby Chic feather wreath and a string of red, green, and white lights to have a hint of a traditional Christmas decor!

Hello my Sugarplum Darlings!

As it’s officially December and the start of a brand new enchanting month, I thought it would be a lovely idea to share a few of the items I loved throughout November. It honestly feels as though last month flew by us in a second!

Despite how quickly it went by, I still had 5 items that I adored all month long!

♡ Henri Bendel Suite 712 Rollerball – I purchased the Suite 712 rollerball in the beginning of the month using my Henri Bendel Alist reward. Being that I had yet to try Suite 712, I was very excited to get it. Especially being that Bendel is sadly closing soon. The scent is absolutely delightful! It’s a delicate scent that’s just so elegant and classy. I really recommend picking one up before they close!

♡ Blush Pink Bow Slippers – As I’m sure you Darlings can already tell, I adore anything blush pink and these slippers are no different. I received these dainty bow slippers for my birthday and have been wearing them everyday since. They’re just so cozy and soft!

♡ Too Faced Christmas Dreams Palette – Every year I love to collect the Christmas palettes that Too Faced puts out, so I was beyond happy to receive this one as an early birthday present! Throughout last month this palette became a staple in my everyday makeup looks. The eye shadows are just so dreamy and the perfect shades for holiday makeup looks.

♡ Too Faced The Smell of Christmas Melted Matte Lipstick Set – This melted matte lipstick set was one of my favorite things I got for my birthday! First of all, the scents of each lipstick is amazing and the shades are so pretty. I found myself favoring Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon Bear, which is the perfect matte holiday red.

♡ Bonne Chance Collections Plaid Dress – My last favorite item last month is this darling plaid dress I purchased from Bonne Chance Collections! It’s such a gorgeous shade of pink and I absolutely adore the collar on it. It makes me think of dreamy vintage dressed. I also love the fact that it has long sleeves as I can pair it with some tights and faux fur coat while still being warm in the colder weather!
