Outside, the world is quiet and still with the sky a muted grey. It’s the kind of December stillness that happens before snowfall. Inside the room is warm and filled with the cozy scent of spiced vanilla chai as a pinkmas playlist plays softly in the background.

Hello my lovelies! ♡

Welcome to day 2 of the 12 days of pinkmas!

As delicate snowflakes tumble from the sky above, the outside begins to look like a dreamy winter wonderland, bringing with it the frigid chill of winter’s air.

While this peaceful scene looks straight out of a Hallmark christmas movie, the deep chill of winter calls for the coziest of chai lattes. One that is sure to warm you to your core with spiced rum and smell like christmas in a mug!

So today I’m sharing my favorite Spiced Rum Chai Latte that is the perfect drink to cozy up by the fire place and read with.

This recipe is simple, dreamy, and carries a hint of holiday warmth that’s perfect for the magical holiday season.

While it is made with RumChata, I’ve also included an option for an alcohol free version if you’d prefer!

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

For this latte I am using The Bungalow Vanilla Chai tea bags as they are the perfect creamy, spicy base for our latte and it simplifies our recipe.

Ingredients:

♡ 1 Bungalow Vanilla Chai Tea Bag

♡ 1 tsp. Organic Raw Cane Sugar (or your favorite sweetener!)

♡ Coffee Mate Natural Bliss Milk and Sweet Cream Creamer

♡ RumChata (or the International Delight Cinnabon Creamer for an alcohol free version!)

♡ Optional for additional holiday warmth: a sprinkle of cinnamon or even a cinnamon stick or two

Spiced Rum Chai Latte

1. Place your Bungalow Vanilla Chai tea bag into your favorite holiday mug. Pour freshly boiled water over it and let the tea steep for a good 5–10 minutes to ensure maximum flavor and spice.

2. Remove the tea bag and add the Organic Raw Cane Sugar and stir until dissolved.

3. Add a your desired amount of Natural Bliss Milk and Sweet Cream Creamer and RumChata (or Cinnabon Creamer!) Stir gently.

4. Optional: add a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or cinnamon sticks for added spice and warmth!

Hello my lovlies!

Welcome to the 12 Days of Pinkmas, which is this my own little version of blogmas and will consist of 12 enchanting posts for the holiday season!

With the arrival of December the nights are growing longer, carrying with them is the softest whisper of winter’s magic, making me feel like retreating inward to the comforting embrace of my favorite blanket and my reading nook.

My favorite way to cozy up with a book is with a spiced vanilla chai in hand and the dreamiest holiday romance novel that is sure to fill me with a feeling of joy and warmth.

My December To Be Read is full of whimsical holiday romance perfect for the season with a bit of nostalgia with the last book on this month’s list. It’s a reread for me, but it’s an old favorite that some of you may recognize yourselves and it still has holiday themes in the beginning!

So brew up your favorite holiday drink and let’s get right into this month’s titles!

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

♡ December by Nicole Pyland – If you remember two past tbr’s I had October and November on it, but now it’s time for the final book in the New Orleans series, which drops December 2nd by the way. This book follows Dana, a caterer that is working on a film set that wants to be part of the industry, but settled for serving people food just to be part of it. When a movie based on her friend’s love story (the characters from the book March) is being made in New Orleans, she’s assigned to be an assistant for one of the lead actresses who happens to be a major diva. Samara is the actress and she’s been keeping a secret. The production she’s working on isn’t the blockbuster she’s used to and she’s feeling like she made a mistake. It can’t get worse when the other actress in the film drops out at the last minute. Dana’s dream just might finally come true when she’s asked to play the role and maybe there’s more to Samara than just the diva attitude.

♡ Breakup Buddies by J.J. Arias & Bryce Oakley – This book is a cozy holiday romcom about two women who meet on a heartbreak anonymous app. When their holiday meet ups stretch from Miami to Colorado to LA, the long distance and fear of losing their friendship stop them from giving their relationship a try. Now they have to decide if love is worth the chance.

♡ Christmas in Miracle Valley by A.J. Marchant – This book follows Juniper Kringle who is next in line to take over her family’s business. Her one goal in life is to sit next to her father in the sleigh on Christmas Eve and eventually take over the reins. But first she has to get through her last few weeks of the traditional Kringle solo trip and so far it’s uneventful, until her car breaks down. Suddenly Juniper finds herself in the middle of nowhere, Miracle Valley. A place that it seems forgotten all about christmas, which the unhelpful head elf, Humphrey, points out in one of his unpredictable pop in visits.

♡ Hoax for the Holidays by Bel Blackwood – This one follows a freelance artist, Isla, who is at risk of losing her family home to developers. Her solution to this problem? To pretend to be fake married to the frosty CEO, Grace. It’s supposed to be all business between them to save Isla’s home, but as the holiday season kicks up, their fake romance gets a dusting of real romance. With baking, cozy fireside conversations, and stolen kisses under the mistletoe, how much of their marriage is real or fake?

♡ Meant to be Christmas by Jamey Moody – This book follows Kendall, who leaves behind her NYC apartment, for a month long stay at her best friend’s with hopes of enjoying a festive December instead of a lonely one. Her best friend also has a husband who happens to have a best friend of his own coming to stay, Marley. Over the years Kendall and Marley have heard many things about the other from their friends, though they had yet to meet until this moment. Feeling like they already know so much about the other from stories, there’s an immediate spark. With a flurry of holiday parties coming up, Marley proposes that she and Kendall pose as each other’s date.

♡ Invasion of the Boy Snatchers: The Clique Series by Lisi Harrison – This is the little bit of nostalgia in my December TBR that some may remember. Lately I’ve been on a kick of rereading The Clique Series as it’s my absolute favorite and is the whole reason I got into writing fanfiction and blogging all those years ago. Though sometimes I do still think about starting a new Clique fic with my head cannon on AO3.

This book takes place right after the Holiday season where Massie and Claire end up becoming roommates while the guesthouse is being renovated, but that’s not the only thing Massie is dealing with. Alicia’s cousin Nina shows up from Spain and she’s definitely not the awkward nerd she used to be. With Nina moving in on Massie’s territory and all of the Briarwood boys, including Massie’s crush, Massie is ready to toss her out of Westchester like last year’s Sevens Jeans.

I’m very excited for this month’s tbr simply because I just adore holiday themed things that fill me with a warm, cozy feeling!

PS: If you’re enjoying the aesthetic of Pinkmas here but want a glimpse behind the aesthetic, I’m doing a more casual, everyday version of Blogmas on my personal blog this year! ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

♡ November by Nicole Pyland – If you remember my cozy book book post from last month, I had the October book in the New Orleans series, but the November one was released this morning so of course it’s on my tbr this month! This book follows India Sheridan who is coming out of her on again and off again relationship with her ex Finley, who is in a new relationship with Molly as seen in book 10 October. As she struggles through moving on from Finley, she’s given a project to buy up the land next to her office. Problem is, there’s an old bookshop that sits on that lot which leads India to wander inside and she meets the bookshop’s cute owner, Maisie. Maisie is struggling to keep her family’s bookshop open with people buying books less and less. While trying to get historical landmark status for her shop, she decides to take matters into her own hands. India and Maisie meet and are taken with each other immediately, but there’s a problem. India’s brother is threatening to take Maisie’s shop and India hasn’t told her he’s her brother.

♡ Sleigh Bells Ring by Alyson Root – This book is a second chance romance set during the Christmas season and follows Nicole Robinson who returns to her hometown every December and has awful luck with romance. All her relationships seems to fizzle out by the holiday season to the point that her sister, Beth, has an advent calendar counting down to the end of her relationship. She returns home to celebrate Christmas with her whole family, including her brother Liam who has a cognitive disability after a childhood accident. The Robinson family has had a long unanswered mystery they have yet to solve, the sound of sleigh bells ton that they hear every year. The romance in the story comes in with Liam’s long time friend, Niamh, who was the only one to stand by Liam after his accident. When Niamh returns to their hometown after ten years and runs into nicole, long buried sparks begin to fly. Will Niamh and Nicole be able to find their way together and will the Robinson’s ever find out where the bells are coming from?

♡ A Holly Jolly Christmas by Emily Wright – Another second chance romance at Christmas trope, but this time our story follows Holly who hasn’t been back to her hometown of Mistleberry in two years since the death of her brother. The town became a haunting place full of painful memories for her. On top of that, her family is still grieving and her ex won’t stop calling her. Bumping into her first love and biggest regret, Vicky, is just the cherry on top of crumbling Christmas cake for her. As everyone pushes Holly to confront her past and heal her heart, she spends more time with Vicky and realizes her heart has never let her go. Will Holly be able to conquer the ghosts of her past and risk it all for true love?

♡ Christmas Cupid by Barbara Winkes – A small town with a mysterious bakery where people have magically fallen in love over sweet treats for generations. This one follows Natasha, who doesn’t believe in Christmas cheer and much prefers to spend the holiday somewhere tropical. When her boss sends her to the tiny town of Pinedale to investigate the legend of this Christmas cupid at the Magic Christmas Bakery. Natasha thinks it’s a scam and expects to uncover it, but then she meets the third generation owner of the bakery, Ivy. As Natasha learns more about the bakery and the couples who have gotten together as a result of it and grows closer to Ivy, is it possible for her heart to defrost and fall for a woman who lived to help others find the one?

♡ For the Love of Christmas by A.J. Marchant – Yes this is another Christmas romance on my tbr, but it’s never too early to be festive! This book is a friends to lovers fake dating trope that follows Thea and Nat who have lived together for a year and been best friends for many years before that. They do everything together including Christmas with each other’s families. This year is a family trip to the vineyard with Thea’s family. Thea’s mom has a problem of setting her up with awful dates and ever misses the chance to meddle in her love life. After being set up on a coffee date with a stranger, Thea calls Nat for backup which proves to be a mistake. A white lie snowballs into gossip and as it gets back to Thea’s mom, she becomes obsessed with the idea of Thea and Nat being together. Thea, not wanting to hurt her mom, asks Nat to go along with it for just two weeks. What could possibly go wrong if it’s just two weeks?

♡ The Reluctant Romantic by Sienna Waters – This is a new one by Sienna Waters that comes out on November 6th (the day after my birthday!) and I’ve been really anticipating this one! It follows a bestselling romance author, Emery Parker aka Emerald Pearl, who’s secretly hopelessly awkward around women despite her books. While in a bookshop owned by Eveline, she accidentally takes out a display. Emery is completely embarrassed, but Eveline offers her a job, confusing Emery. Eveline hates romance novels and their happily ever after endings and has no idea her newest employee is a bestseller in the genre. While Emery’s writer’s block finally clears and Eveline’s heart begins to thaw, their chemistry increases. But with every encounter, Emery’s secret becomes harder to ignore, but even harder to confess. Will the truth end their love story before it even begins?

Blush & Bows ☾ A Cozy Guide to Building Your Pink Witchy Altar ☾ 13 Nights of Pinkoween

The soft sound of crickets chirping outside drifts from the open window as a cool breeze blows gently. With the fairy lights sent to twinkle and the apple cinnamon candle flickering, it’s the perfect cool, autumn night.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Hello, my lovelies! ♡

Welcome to night 9 of pinkoween! Tonight we are going to perform the most sacred and beautiful ritual of all: creating a personal sanctuary. Our space should reflect the deep, tender love we hold for ourselves, and tonight, we are transforming a small corner into a shimmering, Soft Pink Altar that will be a gentle place for whispers, wishes, and deep self-compassion.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

The Pink Sanctuary

The concept of an altar might sound grand, but this isn’t about heavy spells, complicated rituals or expensive new items. This is about creating a tiny, cozy, intentional space. Think of your Soft Pink Altar as a small, aesthetic landing pad for your greatest desires, your deepest self-love, and invite in healing energy. Whether you’re using it to do spells and rituals, tarot readings, or even just using it for decoration and positive energy, your altar should reflect you.

It’s a space where you can gently place your teacup, light a candle, and remember that you are your own favorite muse.

This altar is a promise to choose yourself every single day this season.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Assembling the Altar

The beauty of our altar lies in its aesthetic simplicity. We are looking for soft textures, blush tones, and small, meaningful objects that fill our hearts with a golden hue. You can use a bedside table, a shelf, or a corner of your desk.

Here are the essential ingredients for casting this gorgeous self-love spell:

A blush pink cloth – for grounding and setting the stage for inviting femininity, softness, and self love. This is your base for your altar!

Rose Quartz – for added self love and tenderness as well as drawing in gentle healing.

Pink taper candles – used for spells and rituals involving self love, emotional healing, romance, harmony, kindness, and friendship. Put them in vintage glass holders for added beauty on your altar.

Dried herbs for spell work – rose petals, jasmine flower, lavender, and chamomile are all perfect for self love and healing spell work! You can store them in whimsical little jars to keep on your altar for when you need them.

An offering bowl – a small bowl of your choosing (which ever you feel personally drawn to) to put out an offering if you choose.

A statue of Aphrodite (optional) – for adding self love and healing vibes, include a small figure of Aphrodite.

Moon water – the perfect aid to spell work and overall healing vibes is putting your moon water in a pretty little jar and keeping it in reach on your altar.

A vintage mirror (optional) – if you’re someone that wants to practice glamour magick at your altar, a vintage mirror would be the perfect addition to your altar!

Divination Tools – if you’re a tarot reader, don’t forget to put your tarot and oracle cards or any other divination tools on your altar.

Additional items you can include – seashells, self love spell jars if you made them, pink himalayan salt, rosewater, or any little trinkets you associate with self love and healing!

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

The Arrangement

Once you have gathered your elements, arrange them simply. Everything should be within easy reach, inviting you to engage with the altar daily.

Set the Stage: Drape your velvet or silk fabric. This is your canvas.

Center the Love: Place your Rose Quartz and the offering bowl in the center. This is the heart of your altar. Also add your statue, herbs, moon water jar, shells, divination tools, and mirror. Arrange them in a way that feels right to you.

Light the Way: Position the candle safely. Its flickering glow is the soul of the space. Light it when you wake up, when you come home from your evening walk, or before bed.

Add other items and trinkets of your choosing depending on what your needs will be for the altar. Will you practice tarot there? Read your pendulum? Make spell jars? Or even make an offering in your bowl to a goddess like Aphrodite?

Cleanse and Protect: Take a moment to cleanse your sacred space with an incense stick to banish any negative energy attached to the space or items (sandalwood is perfect for this!) As you’re holding the stick, whisper “I release all energy and negativity that no longer serves me. All fear and doubt has no place in this space. I welcome devine light, healing, and protection in this space. It is protected and peaceful.”

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

This Soft Pink Altar isn’t demanding; it’s a cozy, daily embrace waiting for you.

And so, my lovelies, I hope you enjoy your pretty pink altars. What is the first item you will add to your own soft pink altar tonight? ♡

The Pink Aura ☾ Glamour Magick for Confidence ☾ 13 Nights of Pinkoween

The cozy comfort of the heat warms the entire room as the delectable scent of chocolate cake baking drifts from the kitchen. An old Disney Channel Halloween episode of That’s so Raven plays in the background as I sip on a hot chocolate.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Hello, my lovelies! ♡

Welcome back for night eight of Pinkoween. Tonight, we’re turning our focus inward and boosting our confidence with our favorite sparkly items.

We all have our signature soft accessories, the ones we wear on the daily as they are part of us. Whether it’s a delicate ring, a dainty rose gold necklace, earrings that were gifted from someone special, or even a soft ribbon, they’re all about surrounding ourselves with beauty. But what happens if we treat our accessories not just as decorative accents, but as small, powerful talismans meant to give us confidence, luck, and even protection?

I have one particular piece, a dainty rose-gold necklace that says my name, that feels like it holds my whole day together. It’s more than just metal; it’s a tiny emotional anchor bringing me confidence and grounding. The moment you put on a meaningful ring, a favorite ribbon, or a special necklace, you change the way you move and feel. This is the aura of the accessory.

This ritual is how I cleanse and “charge” my pieces to ensure they carry only the highest, most intentional energy for what I need at that time.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Step 1: Gentle Cleansing

Before we charge a piece with intention, we must clear it of residual energy like the stress of yesterday, the quick changes in mood, or the rush of the week.

The Soft Bath: For jewelry that can handle moisture (gold, silver, quartz), fill a small, pretty teacup with purified water, moon water would be even better! Allow the piece to rest there for an hour.

The Smoke Kiss: For delicate items like ribbons, lace, or costume jewelry, it just anything you don’t want in water, gently pass them through the smoke of a softly scented incense stick (I love sandalwood, rose, or sage for this). This is a quick and effective energetic reset.

The Earth Nap: Place your accessory on a bed of natural fibers like a small, silk scarf or a folded pink cloth and let it rest near a window for an hour. You can also charge your pieces this way according to the moon phase! My favorites being either the new moon or the full moon.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Step 2: The Intentional Charge

Once cleansed, the piece is ready to hold a new, positive frequency. This is where you infuse it with your desired intentions and dreams.

Hold It Close: Cup the accessory in your dominant hand, holding it against your heart space (or your solar plexus, the center of personal power).

State Your Power: Close your eyes and state a clear intention for the piece. It must be specific, positive, and related to your goal for the day or week.

• If you need confidence for a meeting: “This piece holds my courage and sharp wit.”

• If you want to feel soft and graceful: “This piece infuses my movements with gentle elegance.”

• If you need grounding: “This piece connects me to my strength and inner peace.”

• If you need protection: “This piece keeps me safe through all my journeys.”

Breathe: Take three deep, slow breaths, visualizing a warm, soft pink light flowing from your heart, through your hand, and into the accessory. Feel the energy of your intention settle into the material.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Step 3: The Daily Vow

When you put the piece on, treat it like a vow to yourself. Don’t just clasp the necklace, pause, feel the weight of it, and remind yourself of the intention it carries. It’s your secret spell, the quiet confidence layered underneath the aesthetic.

An accessory is rarely just an accessory. It is a subtle shield, a tiny declaration, and, with a little intentional magic, a powerful talisman for self-love.

What intentions would you put in an accessory?

I met my younger self for Coffee

I met my younger self for coffee. She was 30 minutes early and already waiting for me, anxiously stirring her vanilla iced latte.

Her blonde hair was freshly highlighted and straight as she looked around visibly uncomfortable. I could tell by her body language she wanted to disappear; to be unseen and invisible — afraid of being perceived and harshly judged the way she always was.

As I walk over to sit with her, she takes me in. With my long pink hair flowing down my back in soft waves and a book tucked under my arm, I give her a friendly smile as i sit down with my iced coffee.

She stares at my hair — most likely thinking that she can’t believe we finally dyed our hair something other than a shade of blonde. Diverting her eyes, she looks down at the book I now placed on the table. The title “The Almost Bride” by Sienna Waters stares back at her, but she seems laser focused on one part on the book’s cover — “From Bestselling Lesbian Romance Author” and she seems to freeze with confusion written all over her face.

She then looks at our left hand and takes notice of the ring on our finger — yes that kind of ring.

She mumbles quietly that we never wanted to get married and almost sounds let down as she starts fidgeting and looking at me with a million unasked questions.

She’s unsure of herself, so she doesn’t ask any of them, but I know her — I know exactly how she’s feeling and what she wants to say.

I smile softly back at her and tell her it’s okay to feel what she does in this moment. To be unsure about herself and her dreams — that’s she’s still young and it’s perfectly fine to not know ourselves yet. That she’s been through so much already and it’s understandable that she’s confused on things.

Finally she speaks in a delicate tone, though anxious, and asks how we’re doing and where we ended up. She tells me she doesn’t believe there is a place for her in this world and she doesn’t understand how we made it this far when she could never quite see past her almost 18 years of life.

Being honest with her, I tell her we made it in our own little way — with a few bumps along the road and many tears shed over the years. That we had to fall and begin again many times and pick ourselves up. That no matter what this life throws at us, we’ve continued to persevere and try again.

That eventually somewhere along the way we find ourselves — we truly and honestly finally find us. We discover parts of us that finally click and make sense and we come out. That it isn’t easy at first — in fact it’s actually terrifying, but we surround ourselves with a healthy support system full of found family and friends and embrace our truest selves.

I tell her we start therapy as well and find our outlet through our blog.

She has unshed tears in her blue eyes as she whispers a question — it’s about the ring.

I can feel the warmth and happiness radiating through my body as I tell her about the one. How lovely she is — how she makes us feel seen and loved entirely. How safe she makes not only the current us feel, but how safe all versions of us feel with her. Finally safe to be us to the fullest with no judgement at all.

Her tears are now flowing freely — something she rarely allows to be seen — and I can tell she feels a sense of relief. Relief that it might truly all be okay eventually.

We finish our coffee and our conversation and I hug her goodbye — giving her the hug she’s always needed and we go our separate ways.
