Hello my lovlies!

Welcome to the 12 Days of Pinkmas, which is this my own little version of blogmas and will consist of 12 enchanting posts for the holiday season!

With the arrival of December the nights are growing longer, carrying with them is the softest whisper of winter’s magic, making me feel like retreating inward to the comforting embrace of my favorite blanket and my reading nook.

My favorite way to cozy up with a book is with a spiced vanilla chai in hand and the dreamiest holiday romance novel that is sure to fill me with a feeling of joy and warmth.

My December To Be Read is full of whimsical holiday romance perfect for the season with a bit of nostalgia with the last book on this month’s list. It’s a reread for me, but it’s an old favorite that some of you may recognize yourselves and it still has holiday themes in the beginning!

So brew up your favorite holiday drink and let’s get right into this month’s titles!

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

♡ December by Nicole Pyland – If you remember two past tbr’s I had October and November on it, but now it’s time for the final book in the New Orleans series, which drops December 2nd by the way. This book follows Dana, a caterer that is working on a film set that wants to be part of the industry, but settled for serving people food just to be part of it. When a movie based on her friend’s love story (the characters from the book March) is being made in New Orleans, she’s assigned to be an assistant for one of the lead actresses who happens to be a major diva. Samara is the actress and she’s been keeping a secret. The production she’s working on isn’t the blockbuster she’s used to and she’s feeling like she made a mistake. It can’t get worse when the other actress in the film drops out at the last minute. Dana’s dream just might finally come true when she’s asked to play the role and maybe there’s more to Samara than just the diva attitude.

♡ Breakup Buddies by J.J. Arias & Bryce Oakley – This book is a cozy holiday romcom about two women who meet on a heartbreak anonymous app. When their holiday meet ups stretch from Miami to Colorado to LA, the long distance and fear of losing their friendship stop them from giving their relationship a try. Now they have to decide if love is worth the chance.

♡ Christmas in Miracle Valley by A.J. Marchant – This book follows Juniper Kringle who is next in line to take over her family’s business. Her one goal in life is to sit next to her father in the sleigh on Christmas Eve and eventually take over the reins. But first she has to get through her last few weeks of the traditional Kringle solo trip and so far it’s uneventful, until her car breaks down. Suddenly Juniper finds herself in the middle of nowhere, Miracle Valley. A place that it seems forgotten all about christmas, which the unhelpful head elf, Humphrey, points out in one of his unpredictable pop in visits.

♡ Hoax for the Holidays by Bel Blackwood – This one follows a freelance artist, Isla, who is at risk of losing her family home to developers. Her solution to this problem? To pretend to be fake married to the frosty CEO, Grace. It’s supposed to be all business between them to save Isla’s home, but as the holiday season kicks up, their fake romance gets a dusting of real romance. With baking, cozy fireside conversations, and stolen kisses under the mistletoe, how much of their marriage is real or fake?

♡ Meant to be Christmas by Jamey Moody – This book follows Kendall, who leaves behind her NYC apartment, for a month long stay at her best friend’s with hopes of enjoying a festive December instead of a lonely one. Her best friend also has a husband who happens to have a best friend of his own coming to stay, Marley. Over the years Kendall and Marley have heard many things about the other from their friends, though they had yet to meet until this moment. Feeling like they already know so much about the other from stories, there’s an immediate spark. With a flurry of holiday parties coming up, Marley proposes that she and Kendall pose as each other’s date.

♡ Invasion of the Boy Snatchers: The Clique Series by Lisi Harrison – This is the little bit of nostalgia in my December TBR that some may remember. Lately I’ve been on a kick of rereading The Clique Series as it’s my absolute favorite and is the whole reason I got into writing fanfiction and blogging all those years ago. Though sometimes I do still think about starting a new Clique fic with my head cannon on AO3.

This book takes place right after the Holiday season where Massie and Claire end up becoming roommates while the guesthouse is being renovated, but that’s not the only thing Massie is dealing with. Alicia’s cousin Nina shows up from Spain and she’s definitely not the awkward nerd she used to be. With Nina moving in on Massie’s territory and all of the Briarwood boys, including Massie’s crush, Massie is ready to toss her out of Westchester like last year’s Sevens Jeans.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

I’m very excited for this month’s tbr simply because I just adore holiday themed things that fill me with a warm, cozy feeling!

PS: If you’re enjoying the aesthetic of Pinkmas here but want a glimpse behind the aesthetic, I’m doing a more casual, everyday version of Blogmas on my personal blog this year! It’s where I talk about the ins/outs and chaos of everyday life, and all the less-than-aesthetic moments of the season. Click here to go over there now and check it out!

What books are you curling up with first this month? Let me know in the comments!

Fated Flames & Forest Walks ☾ My Favorite Fall Lesbian Romance Novels ☾ 13 Nights of Pink-O-Ween

The gentle Autumn rain taps at the window as the sky grows darker with the clouds and fog. Inside the atmosphere is cozy, with swirls of pumpkin pie twirling about the room. The soft glow of the fairy lights with the flickering candle create a calming view as I type.

Hello, my lovelies! ♡

Welcome to night one of the 13 Nights of Pink-O-Ween! Over the next 13 days, I have a plethora of enchanting post for the spookiest time of the year on my own spin on blogtober.

Tonight, the air is foggy & rainy, my pumpkin candles and incense are lit, and I’ve curled up in my favorite spot with a my kindle app!

My most favorite time of year is here again, autumn is the season for fated, atmospheric romance, where mist hangs heavy over the forest and love feels as inevitable as the changing leaves.

These five books are my absolute favorite companions for a cozy, enchanted autumn night. They all take place in Autumn or Halloween, making them perfect to add to your October/November “To Be Reads.”

So grab a warm cup of pumpkin spice tea, and let’s dive into these dreamy worlds of sapphic devotion!

☾ October by Nicole Pyland — Probably my most favorite out of the bunch! This book is actually part of a series where the second of every month a new book drops and the title is that current month, I love it so much I recommend reading them all. However this one takes place in October where a woman, Molly, falls for a co-worker, Finely, who just so happens to be on again off again with another co-worker, India. Finely is finally ready to move on from that relationship and realizes she likes Molly, who doesn’t believe Finely and India are truly over.

☾ Not Just Gal Pals by Elizabeth Luly — This is a cozy Autumnal book that i’ve just started myself! It follows an influencer named Jenny who has recently been canceled due to an unfortunate post. This leads her to extending her time in her hometown of Sapphire Springs, where she is visiting for her finest friend’s wedding. Enter Blake, Sapphire Spring’s only doctor, who’s had a crush on Jenny since high school. A crush that causes her to act awkward anytime she sees Jenny, who views it as Blake disliking her. Now Jenny and Blake must work together on their friend’s bachelorette party where sparks begin to fly.

☾ Pumpkin Spice & Poltergeist by Ali K. Mulford & K. Elle Morrison — This is a “To Be Read” for me, but the concept intrigued me! An apothecary witch named Jordyn has romance on her mind when she gets witch wasted accidentally conjures up her dead ex girlfriend. Her dead ex is now haunting her until she finds someone new to move on with. Harlow, the new girl in town, soon realizes that magic really exists in Maple Hallow and she soon meets Jordyn as sparks being to fly. Will Jordyn’s ghostly girlfriend get in the way of love?

☾ Taping into Love by Monica McCallan — This one is a re-read for me because I love it so much! Back in town after the death of her father, Sierra Westmoore tries to rent out a room in the town’s bed and breakfast called The Maple Inn. The Inn is owned by Lucy and her family and Lucy does not care for the Westmoore family or the maple syrup they produce. Sierra has a plan with her brother to make things right and changing the opinion of the town about their family now that their father is gone. Lucy doesn’t believe a Westmoore could ever change, but will feelings for Sierra change her mind?

☾ Curses & Coldbrew by Ali K. Mulford & K. Elle Morrison — Another “To Be Read” for me! This book takes us back to the magical, ghostly town of Maple Hallow. This time we meet Ramona Henry, whose soul has gone missing and she sets out to go find the thief. Iris Stonewood is Maple Hallow’s flirtatious witch, who Ramona is annoyed by. When Iris is bored she decides she’s going to help Ramona find her soul. When souls start vanishing like candy on Halloween, they must find the culprit before Iris’s soul is next. Ramona and Iris are on the hunt all while their chemistry rises.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Happy reading, my lovelies! I hope these recommendations fill your cozy book nook with beautiful magic this season. Which one are you adding to your fall stack first? ♡

I met my younger self for Coffee

I met my younger self for coffee. She was 30 minutes early and already waiting for me, anxiously stirring her vanilla iced latte.

Her blonde hair was freshly highlighted and straight as she looked around visibly uncomfortable. I could tell by her body language she wanted to disappear; to be unseen and invisible — afraid of being perceived and harshly judged the way she always was.

As I walk over to sit with her, she takes me in. With my long pink hair flowing down my back in soft waves and a book tucked under my arm, I give her a friendly smile as i sit down with my iced coffee.

She stares at my hair — most likely thinking that she can’t believe we finally dyed our hair something other than a shade of blonde. Diverting her eyes, she looks down at the book I now placed on the table. The title “The Almost Bride” by Sienna Waters stares back at her, but she seems laser focused on one part on the book’s cover — “From Bestselling Lesbian Romance Author” and she seems to freeze with confusion written all over her face.

She then looks at our left hand and takes notice of the ring on our finger — yes that kind of ring.

She mumbles quietly that we never wanted to get married and almost sounds let down as she starts fidgeting and looking at me with a million unasked questions.

She’s unsure of herself, so she doesn’t ask any of them, but I know her — I know exactly how she’s feeling and what she wants to say.

I smile softly back at her and tell her it’s okay to feel what she does in this moment. To be unsure about herself and her dreams — that’s she’s still young and it’s perfectly fine to not know ourselves yet. That she’s been through so much already and it’s understandable that she’s confused on things.

Finally she speaks in a delicate tone, though anxious, and asks how we’re doing and where we ended up. She tells me she doesn’t believe there is a place for her in this world and she doesn’t understand how we made it this far when she could never quite see past her almost 18 years of life.

Being honest with her, I tell her we made it in our own little way — with a few bumps along the road and many tears shed over the years. That we had to fall and begin again many times and pick ourselves up. That no matter what this life throws at us, we’ve continued to persevere and try again.

That eventually somewhere along the way we find ourselves — we truly and honestly finally find us. We discover parts of us that finally click and make sense and we come out. That it isn’t easy at first — in fact it’s actually terrifying, but we surround ourselves with a healthy support system full of found family and friends and embrace our truest selves.

I tell her we start therapy as well and find our outlet through our blog.

She has unshed tears in her blue eyes as she whispers a question — it’s about the ring.

I can feel the warmth and happiness radiating through my body as I tell her about the one. How lovely she is — how she makes us feel seen and loved entirely. How safe she makes not only the current us feel, but how safe all versions of us feel with her. Finally safe to be us to the fullest with no judgement at all.

Her tears are now flowing freely — something she rarely allows to be seen — and I can tell she feels a sense of relief. Relief that it might truly all be okay eventually.

We finish our coffee and our conversation and I hug her goodbye — giving her the hug she’s always needed and we go our separate ways.

Whispers of Romance ♡ a dreamy Valentine’s Day

The delicate scent of pink spun sugar mingles gracefully with the comforting aroma of apple cinnamon. This enchanting blend mixes with the delectable scent pasta summing on the stove. Outside, a gentle snowfall blankets the world in a serene hush, creating the perfect cozy atmosphere.

Hello, my lovelies! ♡

Welcome back to my cozy little whimsical corner of the internet! Today I have a lovely little post to share of the dreamiest Valentine’s day spent with my beloved—a day filled with creativity, romance, and the simple joys of just being together. So grab your favorite warm drink and your coziest blanket, and let’s jump right in to our magical day!

Morning Bliss

The gentle glow of the morning sun streams through the windows, casting the warmest embrace over our cozy haven. Exchanging sleepy smiles and soft whispers, we wish each other a happy Valentine’s Day, savoring the quiet beauty of the morning. Leaving the warmth of our blankets, we head downstairs to make breakfast and coffee together.

The inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills there air in no time as we go about our usual morning routine of breakfast. As we wait for it to finish while sipping our coffee, we share our dreams for the day ahead; each moment filled with anticipation and love.

Makeup & Sentiments

After breakfast, we retreat back upstairs hand in hand to get ready for our day. While getting ready, we reminisce about cherished memories and the journey we’ve shared, excited to make even more today.

With our laughter and words of love mingling with the soft music playing in the background, we finish getting ready and head back downstairs to find a cute romance movie to watch. After debating between several movies, we settled on Crushed (2022), a lesbian romantic comedy. Cozying up together, we watch the movie as it fills us with laughter and warm fuzzy feelings.

Culinary Romance

As the afternoon sun casts golden hues across the kitchen, we start preparing a romantic dinner for two. As we’re getting the ingredients prepared, we peer out of the window and an enchanting view catches our eye, three deer are nibbling on the grass in the yard. Marveling over how precious they are, we snap a few photos to keep as a memory.

After admiring the whimsical scene before us, we start our dinner together. The air is filled with the fragrant aroma of herbs and spices as we cook together side by side, our hearts dancing to the rhythm of our shared efforts.

As our dinner finishes, we grab fancy wine glasses and pour ourselves a glass. Over our delicious meal of creamy pasta, we toast to love and the adventures that lie ahead.

Artistic Exchange

As the evening draws near, we retreat to our crafting nook and move to the second part of our date — a painting swap. Two blank canvas lie before us, waiting to be transformed. As we take turns adding details to each other’s works, we exchange stories and laughter with each brushstroke. The result of our paint swap is two whimsical paintings that really capture us as a couple and a new shared memory to deepen our bond.

Cozy Conclusion

As twilight descends and the stars once again begin their evening dance, we snuggle up together for another movie. Wrapped in soft blankets and feeling rejuvenated from our shower, we choice a movie, the cat nestled between us. We choose the movie Up as it’s one of my girlfriend’s most favorite movies. We share warmth and affection until the credits roll. As sleep begins to make our eyelids start to shut, we exchange sweet smiles and gentle kisses, our hearts full of love and gratitude for each other.

It truly was the perfect, cozy Valentine’s Day.

And so, my Lovlies, our dreamy Valentine’s Day comes to a close. It was a day I’ll always cherish and I hope it brought you on the journey with us and filled your hearts with a warm, fuzzy tenderness. Until my next post, may your days and dreams be filled with love and happiness! ♡

a midsummer night with you ♡ 12 days of pinkmas

The sound of the cicadas sing over the silence of night — their song the soundtrack for the midsummer night — as you sway gently on the porch swing with your most favorite person.

She’s looking off in the distance as you swing, lost in thought, a soft smile playing on her face that calms the anxious voice often in your head. It’s that type of beautiful smile that brightens up her face, giving you a glimpse into her soul.

You’re completely absorbed in her presence, the way she effortlessly illuminates the world with her beauty — both inside and out. The gentle rhythm of the swing lulls you into a state of peaceful bliss, as if time has stopped for just a moment.

You take a deep breath, inhaling the scent of freshly cut grass and summer blooms, the fragrance dancing with the notes of the evening dew. It’s in these quiet moments, when the world seems to slow down, that you truly appreciate the beauty of life — that you’re grateful you stayed.

As you glance over at her, you’re struck by the way the moonlight dances across her face, casting a soft glow around her making her look as though she were an angel on earth. A gentle breeze tickles the trees as the crickets join the cicadas in their song, creating a symphony of summer.

She looks up, meeting your gaze with eyes that hold an overwhelming amount of love— and suddenly you’re lost in them — warm amber pools you find yourself never wanting to look away from. You can feel the warmth emanating from them — enveloping you with a love you never thought you’d experience.

In that moment, you realize that she is the one that inspires your every work — she’s in every poem, every song, every painting. She has the key to the very depths of your soul — your entire being. Her smile alone sparks the fire within you, fuelling your creativity and passion in a way no one else ever has.

You close your eyes and whisper a silent thank you to the universe for finally bringing her into your life — divine timing on your side. It’s in her eyes, you find solace — a place in this chaotic world.

You find pure and simple love — a love that transcends time and words — a love that fills you with so much emotion you almost want to burst into tears.

It’s in these quiet nights with her, beneath the stars that glitter the sky above, that you realize she isn’t just meant to be a chapter in your book, but a soul intertwined with your own. You realize how truly fortunate you are to have found each other — as though every tiny moment throughout your lives were tying you together this entire time — an invisible string leading you directly to her.

Together, you watch the stars twinkle above, knowing that this simple moment in time is just one of many in your lives together. And with each passing night, you know you’ll continue to write the chapters of your love together, with every word a tender kiss on the pages.

sunsets ♡ sapphic musings ౨ৎ 12 days of pinkmas

The breeze caresses your skin, carrying the intoxicating scent of salt and sand from the ocean. Gentle waves crash against the shore, a moment of serene tranquility envelopes you as you’re lost in thought.

The beach has always been your happy place — freeing and calm — one of the only happy memories from a rocky childhood. It’s a place where worries get left behind and a feeling of complete bliss takes over — where the cool, salt air kisses your cheeks to let you know you’re safe — you can breathe again.

A place to watch breathtaking sunsets — a reason to be grateful for those little moments in life —

The sound of laughter filling the air frees you of being in your head — the light, musical sound igniting a fire within your soul.

And there she is, just a few steps away —wind playfully dancing through her hair, as she collects shells with a contagious joy — you can’t help the smile that begins to spread across your face as you watch on.

In that luminous golden hour, as the sun begins its descent, she turns to you with that smile — the one where her smile reaches her eyes causing those adorable crinkles that fill your stomach with 10,000 butterflies —

and she presents the prettiest shell she has found, as if it were a precious gift from the depths of the ocean. It is in that very moment, when the sun’s warm embrace casts a magical glow surrounding the two of you, that you realize she’s what makes it all worth it —

and you want to never want to spend a single sunset without her again.

🎀 The Wait is Over – Nicole Pyland

This is book six in the Holiday series.

Scarlet Campbell’s friends had all coupled off, and it had happened this year. All five of them had found love while Scarlet had continued to go back and forth about coming out to her family, and on top of that, she still couldn’t talk to women. Every time she tried, she choked. She got nervous. She said something stupid. As a result, she was still a single nerd who worked as a data analyst and did coding on the side.

Dakota Wagner was new to the marketing team of a software company, tasked with building a customer community. To do that, though, she needed data. When Dakota was sent Scarlet’s way, she found the woman endlessly adorable, so she wanted to get to know more about her other than her fascination with sugar and numbers. In Scarlet’s eyes, Dakota was sexy, smart, and would have no problem finding a girlfriend easily, so Scarlet didn’t think she’d have a chance. Little did she know that Dakota was exactly who she needed in her life to get the courage to be more herself, conquer her fears, and finally come out to her family.

🎀 Rekindled – Erica Lee

After getting married right out of college, Jordan and Spencer Barlowe were sure their love would last a lifetime. Unfortunately, life didn’t work out that way and they’ve spent the last ten years apart. The only connection they have left is their teenage daughter.

When Jordan travels from her current home in Florida back to Pennsylvania so her daughter, Penny, can stay with her mom and Jordan can attend the first indoor track and field meet hosted by her alma mater, she ends up spending a lot more time with her ex-wife than she originally planned.

Is Christmas magic (and some intervening from their teenage daughter) enough to bring Jordan and Spencer back together or is it too late?

🎀 The Christmas Inheritance – Addison Clarke

Charlie Monroe loves everything about Baxter Tree Farm. From the smell of the pine trees to the shimmer of Christmas lights, Charlie is at home on the farm. Having managed the farm since graduating high school, Charlie considers herself an expert on all things Christmas trees. Her dream is to continue to grow the place she loves so much and make it a must visit place in Maine.

But when the owner dies just before Christmas and leaves half the farm to Charlie, the last thing she expects is the other new owner to be her high school rival. And for her to still look so damn beautiful.

Delaney Baxter doesn’t know the first thing about owning a Christmas tree farm. After living in Florida since college, it has been years since Delaney has seen snow or even bothered to put up a tree for the holidays. She’s reluctant to go back to her hometown to settle her aunt’s affairs. And when she finds out Charlie also inherited half of the farm, Delaney is ready to leave town as soon as possible.

After calling a truce for the holidays, Delaney slowly begins to realize that Charlie isn’t the villain she’d remembered her to be. As for Charlie, she’s wondering why Delaney looks so perfectly at home sitting in the kitchen. Can these two former rivals learn to work together in life and love? Or will their Christmas inheritance tear them further apart?

🎀 The Christmas Committee – Lily Seabrooke

With property developer Michael Landgrave trying to buy out the small-town center and pave it over, the town’s best hope is their Christmas Committee revitalizing the old Christmas festival the town used to be famous for. Unfortunately, Piper is the only member of the committee.

But when aloof legal writer Lyra Simmons visits town to spend the holidays away after a breakup, and Piper invites herself as her welcoming committee, a new friendship—and an accidental fake relationship—might just save Castle Hollow.

If Piper can get herself together. Frankly, it doesn’t seem likely.

🎀 The Christmas Catch – Clare Lyndon

Two stranded travellers. One secret crush. Can they make it home without falling in love?

Thrown together when their plane conks out and a blizzard rolls in, Morgan Scott and her childhood friend Ali Bradford are on a mission to make it from Glasgow to Devon in time for Christmas.

The catch? Roads and trains are up the spout, Morgan’s patience is running low, and Ali has had a secret crush on Morgan since forever. But she can keep a lid on over two decades of unrequited love. Particularly when they keep having to share a bed. Absolutely no problem at all.

As Morgan and Ali inch south, they discover more about themselves and each other. This is one twisty road trip that takes them places they’ve never been before, and might just change their lives forever.

🎀 Twice Upon a Christmastime – Addison Clarke

Twins Jones and Mallory Garner never expected the holidays to be so climactic.

Ice queen Jones is the Vice President of Smithfield Marketing, a high profile marketing firm in the heart of NYC. She’s risen to the top of her game by not caring about the people she steps on along the way. Love isn’t on her radar; that next big promotion is though. With the announcement of her boss’s retirement, Jones was fully expecting to slide right into the presidential position she’s been dreaming of for years. But with her career suddenly in limbo, she begins to question her future.

The always sunny Mallory is the lead trainer at Paws on a Mission. She opened the organization with Mason Mackenzie and can’t imagine working anywhere else. Mostly because Mallory’s friends call her a human golden retriever, which means she fits right in at work. Mallory’s dedication to her job means she hasn’t had a vacation in years. Heck, she’s not even had a date in who knows how long. After striking out with love before, Mallory has no desire to get hurt again.

When Jones suggests that they swap places for a few weeks before Christmas, Mallory agrees to do a switch-a-roo one more time. The last thing either of them expects is to fall for someone in the other’s world. How do they explain what they’ve done to the people they’ve grown to care for? And how do they go back to their old lives now?

🎀 Make Her Wish Come True – A.L. Brooks

A lesbian romance where the realest thing about a fake relationship is all the possibilities.

Abby Baxter’s burning ambition to be a reporter gets a boost when her journalist friend offers her a deal: Fake-date a woman for a story she’s writing on finding love, and she’ll swing Abby a co-writing credit. It’s a dream come true after so long looking for her big break. For years, life and raising her half-sister have gotten in the way.

Erica Goode works two jobs while all her spare energies are focused on her eight-year-old daughter. She would love a social life, but who has time? A deal to be wined and dined if she fakes a relationship sounds fun. Although, it’d help if she wasn’t attracted to her date quite so much. Oh, and if the woman wasn’t averse to children. Really, there’s no way anything can come of it. Right?

Is it possible to get what you wish for, if you’re willing to give it a try?

🎀 All Wrapped Up in You – T.B. Markinson & Adrian J. Smith

A saboteur. A bookstore in trouble. A writer on the verge of ruin.

After a painful divorce, Mathilda “Mat” Kincaide has one clear vision. Ascend the throne of her family’s cherished chain of bookstores. Yet a mysterious troublemaker lurks in the heart of her store, intent on derailing Mat’s every ambition. She can’t be distracted, even if the new hire with her sizzling librarian appearance and saucy glances tempts Mat to bend her no relationship rule.

Camdyn Stone is a gifted writer. Or at least she was. With a looming deadline, Camdyn must complete a manuscript before Christmas or face financial ruin. Working at Kincaide Books is a refuge for this self-doubting one-hit-wonder. If only Camdyn could find inspiration for her next book in someone other than her sexy new boss.

In a whimsical bookstore, with eccentric patrons and a snarky cat, Mat and Camdyn must work together to save the Kincaide legacy.

But will they find love along the way?

Join Mat and Camdyn on a heartfelt journey where love unfolds, passions flare, hearts collide, and the quest for true love takes root in the most unexpected of places. In this captivating sapphic romance novel, love weaves a tale with an intensity that transcends all boundaries.

the fresh spring air drifts through the open window, the linen curtains ever so slightly blowing. the morning sun is casting a golden ray about the kitchen, warm & inviting, as the scent of the newly bloomed hyacinths mixes with the sweet smell of blueberry pancakes. taking a deep inhale of breath, you feel at ease — a peaceful bliss washing over you, something you’ve never felt before — when you hear it.

the soft song playing from the kitchen — the dreamy notes of la vie en rose reaches your ears as you walk toward the sound.

standing in the kitchen mixing pancake batter illuminated in the golden sunlight — you see her.

she turns to look at you with that smile — the one that makes it feel as though a thousand monarch butterflies were let loose in your stomach — the sunlight creating a halo of warmth & happiness around her as she holds her hand out towards you.

your hand in hers — the perfect fit — she dances with you in your kitchen. twirling around with you while humming along to la vie en rose. a peaceful warmth spreads throughout your body as your smile matches hers. she pulls you in closer as you rest your head on her shoulder — eyes closed, you know your home will always be her.
