Here are the lovely questions Hannah asked:
♡ When and why did you start blogging?
I started my wonderful blogging journey almost six years ago in September of 2012. Being that I was in a web design class, I had already been introduced to blogging, WordPress in particular. For one of our beginner projects, we had to set up our own blog, give it a theme, and publish a post just to get used to a simple set up. Well I ended up coming across a lovely community on here, The Clique community. The Clique is a lovely book series by the amazing Lisi Harrison about a group of girls who call themselves The Pretty Committee. In this little community these girls had Clique blogs where each blog would be in the theme of that character and basically they’d write fan fiction blog posts with their chosen character as the center of their plot line. Having adored writing Clique fan fiction on fanfiction.net, I created a blog and joined in. That is how I started out, pretending I was Dylan Marvil on the Internet.
♡ Why did you pick your blog name?
Originally this blog was named something else, but I ended up going with La vie en Rose Diaries which was what I called a series I did on my Polyvore. I felt that it was perfectly fitting for my blog as I feel my blog is an enchanting diary that shows a peek into my dreamy life.
♡ Which of your own blog posts has been your favourite, so far?
If I had to choose, I would go with The Little Things That Make Me Happy. Not only was it just so simple and pure, but in it I stepped back and just wrote a list of what truly makes me happy in life. Just the little things I’m grateful for on a daily basis.
♡ What’s been your favourite blog to read lately?
That’s hard to choose as I’ve been loving so many different ones lately, but I’d have to say Discovering Your Happiness, Lissy’s Baked Treats, and Frosting Fairy.
♡ If you could meet any one person in the world, who would it be and why?
Audrey Hepburn because she has inspired me so much in life to always be kind, have class and grace, and to help others.
♡ The most inspirational person in your life?
I’d have to say my mom.
♡ Favorite place to be?
I love spending time at the park just enjoying the beauty of the nature surrounding me. There’s nothing like frolicking through the wild flowers as the breeze gently blows my hair about and the only sounds are the flowing stream and the chirping of the birds. Plus the park is the best place for a whimsical garden tea party.
♡ What film have you watched the most?
The Clique movie! I just absolutely adore it as well as the book series. It is after all the whole reason I got into writing.
♡ Cats, Dogs or both?
I absolutely cannot choose as I love them both so much! There’s nothing I want more than a little puppy and cat I can spoil with all the love in world. Sadly I’ve never had either, but I would love a black cat and a Pomeranian.
♡ Something your proud of in your life?
That I’m still going and fighting everyday. Unfortunately I’ve been through so much in life and many times I’ve felt like I wouldn’t make it through the darkness. I felt as if there was no point in continuing on, but something kept me holding on and fighting. It’s hasn’t been easy, but I’m proud of myself for it.
♡ One piece of advice you would give to your younger self?
Never stop dreaming.
♡♡♡
Now that I’ve answered the lovely questions that were asked of me, it’s my turn to nominate 11 beautiful bloggers whose blogs that I have been reading a lot of lately!

Sadly I let those words affect me negatively and in walked self-doubt. As I would be working on the things to get me to the finish line, I would suddenly start having thoughts that this was all pointless. Putting in all this work and effort is for nothing as I’ll never make it. I’m simply just not good enough or cut out for this life, so I should just give up now…and I did. I would always give up and let my own doubts win. It would hurt me so bad to do so and I would end up crying alone in my room feeling like I was letting myself down. Like I was letting the younger version of me with big dreams down.
I’m still doubting this blog as I sit here and type these very words, but luckily with the help of the amazing loves who have been supporting me so far, the encouraging words I read from another blog to beginners, and wonderful quotes I’ve found on Pinterest, I know I’ll get through it.

Start off your enchanting Valentine’s Day by picking out a lavish outfit that makes you feel the most like a princess and makes you feel like you’re shining from the inside out. For such a romantic holiday, I personally suggest a romantic dress or ethereal tulle skirt in an adorable blush pink. You’ll feel incredibly girly and sweet! Take the time to do some pirouettes in the gorgeous outfit you chose and just let your true self show.

The first thing I got was this delicate little velvet set. I’ve been in love with velvet for so long, so I was extremely happy when PINK got in on this trend. When I saw this set I just knew I had to have it. It’s so soft, light, and has a dainty floral print that’s perfect for the spring. The best part is I got both pieces for only $10.95!
These lovely pieces were in the sleep separates section. Originally I saw the shorts first and loved how delicate they looked. There’s blush pink hearts all over the white shorts and the material is so light and airy! When I was searching for a top to match these, I came across the ribbed sleep Henley and saw the absolute most gorgeous color for spring! It’s called Harbor Grey and it’s the prettiest dusty pastel green shade. It just reminds me so much of spring and makes me want to buy everything they have in this color. Another reason I really like the Henley’s is because of the dainty lace detailing around the neck of the top. It’s adds just the tiniest touch of girlyness!
The next two pieces I bought are also sleep separates, but from the PINK side. They’re new items for spring and they’re so soft! I just had to have this pastel tie dye sleep crew, it just looked so pretty; the color of it is even more gorgeous and pastel in person. To match I got these cute, little mint green shorts and the color on these is simply adorable!

The first thing I’m doing on this beautiful winter morning is taking care of my skin. The chilly winter wind can be harsh on skin, so to help it I like to gently exfoliate my face whenever I need it. I then follow up with my new favorite face cleanser, Lancôme’s Crème-Mousse Confort Comforting Cleansing Creamy-Foam with Rose Extract. It’s gentle on delicate skin and smells like romantic roses in the spring. It’s the perfect thing to add to any princess’s morning routine!
Reaching for my tulle Victoria’s Secret champagne and rose gold robe, I put it on and feel even more princess like. The robe is so light and airy, it just makes me feel so fancy. The sleeves are ruffled out and there’s rose gold stars sprinkled all over it. It’s such a whimsical design.
While the tea cools, I take out my matching Rose Confetti teacup and saucer; the dainty floral print of this collection makes me feel like a princess at tea time. Pouring myself a steaming cup of tea, I take a seat on the couch in my makeup room, resting against the rosy pillows. With a fluffy blush pink blanket gingerly wrapped around my shoulders, I prepare to have a princessy movie marathon with movies like Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Roman Holiday, Marie Antoinette, and of course one of my all time favorites, The Aristocats.
As the end of the day draws near and the stars are starting to sprinkle across the night sky, I welcome the night with a fancy bath.
Hello my Vintage Darlings ♡

It’s time for that to change in 2018. I’m going to treat myself like the princess I deserve to be and if that bothers people, (the way that I hold myself, write about what I’m doing, dress, treat myself, etc) then that says more about them than it ever will about me. I’m going to do what makes me happy and what makes me, me. It may take a while for me to get there, but I will eventually.
