Have the Perfect Girly Valentine’s Day ♡

Hello my little Vintage Darlings ♡

February is the month of sweetness and romance. The time of year where the atmosphere is filled with the magic of pure love and a gentle feeling. Delightful blush pink heart decor and romantic roses are beautifully placed and make everything look like an enchanting fairytale. It could only mean one thing, Valentine’s Day is approaching quickly.

The time of year when all of the romantics celebrate the love in their lives. Though some may not love this time of year as much, especially if they find themselves without a love to celebrate with. However I believe romantic love isn’t the only love that must be celebrated during this wonderful season. Valentine’s Day can also be all about celebrating the beautiful person that is you; this delightful holiday can include self-love as well.

Today’s lovely post is going to focus on just that and show all of you Darlings out there how to have a dreamy and girly Valentine’s Day treating yourself like the princess you deserve to be!

♡ ♡ ♡

Start off your enchanting Valentine’s Day by picking out a lavish outfit that makes you feel the most like a princess and makes you feel like you’re shining from the inside out. For such a romantic holiday, I personally suggest a romantic dress or ethereal tulle skirt in an adorable blush pink. You’ll feel incredibly girly and sweet! Take the time to do some pirouettes in the gorgeous outfit you chose and just let your true self show.

Treat yourself to an amazing breakfast, nothing says self love and care like nourishing your body with delicious foods. Whether you’re someone who prefers fluffy, heart shaped pancakes or yummy fruit bowl, prepare your favorite and enjoy it. For a little extra girlyness, use blush pink or floral china to have your breakfast off of!

As the afternoon draws near, do something that you absolutely love! This could be anything from dancing by yourself, reading your favorite fairytale, or even painting; the possibilities are endless. However my personal favorite thing to do, especially when having a girly Valentine’s Day, is to bake adorable pastel cupcakes. There’s just something so calming and happy about baking sweet treats, particularly on a holiday. With so many charming recipes out there, it’s hard to choose which heart themed cupcakes to make, but go with the ones that make you feel the happiest. When you’re through with your baking, wind down with a steamy cup of delicious tea. Let the warmth from the cup soothe your senses and feel at peace. You may choose to listen to your favorite romantic songs while doing this or watch a favorite show.

Once all of the tea is gone and you feel at ease, light your favorite rose scented candle and run a warm bubble bath fit for a princess. Use a comforting scent like lavender or vanilla and toss in a pretty rose colored bath bomb. Slip into the warm water and let the delicate bubbles take over as you relax; feeling any stress wash away.

After the calming bath, slip into your girliest pajamas, pick up your favorite face mask, and rejuvenate your gentle skin. With your mask on, reach for a dreamy nail polish and treat yourself to a mani/pedi. Finish off with a lovely moisturizer to leave your beautiful skin feeling soft, hydrated, and most importantly, cared for.

Slip into your darling princess bed, turn on your absolute favorite Disney movie, and slowly drift off to your own personal dream land.

I truly hope this post has made you Darlings see Valentine’s Day in a different light and gave you enchanting ideas for how to spend it.

Always remember that each and every one of you are beautiful princesses and you deserve self love and happiness! ♡
