Winter Princess: An Enchanting Snow Day ♡

Warm, furry slippers grace my feet as I pull on my blush pink robe, the silk feeling luxurious against my smooth skin. I pour myself a delightful cup of lemon tea and gracefully walk. out of the safety of my princess hideaway. Vintage tea cup in hand, I move into the living room and something catches my eye. Delicate snowflakes are falling silently, kissing the ground below.

It’s quiet and calm as I gaze out the window at the snow currently frosting the ground. The afternoon sun warms my face as I slowly sip my tea, the delectable scent of lemon swirling up from my cup. It’s the perfect scene for a dreamy day at home spent being wrapped up in a soft blanket with a book and tea.

Staring at the cozy, little nook in front of the window, an enchanting idea comes to mind. With a smile dancing on my lips, I put my teacup down and make my way into my own little la la land to grab the items I need to bring my idea to life. With fluffy pastel blankets and soft floral pillows in hand, I make my way back over to the nook by the window. Carefully I begin to place blankets and pillows on it, making it the perfect sitting area to cozy up and watch the dreamy snow fall. Finished with setting up the little nook, I pirouette into the kitchen to grab my teapot filled with my favorite lemon tea and pour myself another delicious cup.

No cozy day in is complete without a lovely book to read, so before taking a seat I go off to choose one of my favorite books. Reaching for my collection of Clique books, I grab one of my absolute favorites in the whole series, Bratfest at Tiffany’s. On my way out I make sure to grab a candle to burn for added coziness.

Lighting my Vanilla Snowflake candle, I gracefully take a seat. Settling into the blankets with my book in one hand and my teacup in the other, I start to feel relaxed.

Cuddled up with my soft, fluffly blanket that’s the color of a pink little bunny nose; the scent of fresh linen wafting all around me, I sip my tea and begin my book. Every so often I glance up at the window to watch the beautiful snowflakes sprinkle about.

As the evening swiftly approaches, the late winter sun peeks through the clouds illuminating the snow. It sparkles as if it were gently sprinkled with fairy dust. As the sun begins to say good night to the world for now, it creates a magical scene that looks straight out of a winter fairytale. I smile in contentment as I sip from the tea cup in my hands and admire the beautiful scene before me.

Placing a bookmark in my book, I once again gaze out the window and watch as the sun begins to set. Sighing happily, I feel grateful for the dreamy, cozy day I had. ♡
