Hello my little Vintage Darlings ♡
As you can see, it has been over a month since I’ve last posted. I’ve also barely been active on WordPress, my main Twitter, or my Instagram. The reason for this being that I’ve unfortunately fallen back into bad habits due to personal issues like anxiety. Throughout the whole month I was inactive, I was just weighted down with sadness and self doubt. Thinking that there’s no way I’ll ever accomplish my dream of turning this into my own little business and being able to work from home doing something I love dearly. Feeling like there’s no point to continuing my blog and writing because I felt people wouldn’t care to read what I have to say or care if I gave up. My issues of sadness also made me feel like there wasn’t much point of anything, so for the whole month I haven’t been myself. I ended up giving up the things I adored, stopped doing anything like even going out, and remained in bed feeling empty most days. I gave up trying to achieve my dreams and goals, which in turn made me sink down further.
I’ve become disappointed with myself as my main goal was to write and grow my blog, but instead I gave it up and it’s gone nowhere. I can’t help but think where my blog would be today if I wouldn’t have let sadness and anxiety win, but I can’t dwell over the what if’s. I can only make new goals and stick with them.
That’s exactly what this post is all about. After feeling the way I have lately, I’m choosing to try and fight past these awful feelings and have more positivity. To do this I have created a list of goals that I wish to accomplish this Spring with the hopes that they will not only help me achieve my blogging dream, but also to feel happier, less doubtful, and most importantly like it’s worth getting up and out!
Here are all of my angelic Spring goals! ♡

♡ Daily Yoga & Meditation – As I’ve mentioned above, I took time away from writing and posting due to my anxiety and sadness becoming worse. Not wishing for this to happen and keep me from accomplishing the things I want the most, I would like to try and get into daily yoga and meditation to hopefully help alleviate some of my stress. I truly feel I could benefit positively from this.
♡ Drink less coffee – This is one I truly need to work on the most. Usually a tea drinker, I have been consuming many cups off coffee lately, more often than not I have multiple a day. It’s at the point where I feel I simply need a cup, or three, just to get me through the day or I don’t feel myself and have zero energy. I hope to able to break this habit!
♡ Don’t Dream it, Do it – I don’t want to waste this lovely season staying inside and dreaming of all the things I’ve always wanted to do, I want to go out and actually do them. I want to live in the moment and enjoy it.
♡ Continue my Writing – I’ve mentioned this before, but I started out on WordPress with a Clique blog where I basically wrote a Clique fan fiction on it. In addition to this blog, I have also written on fanfiction.net for quite some time. It’s been almost three years since I’ve last done any type of creative fiction writing and I’ve been wishing to get back into it. I’ve recently had inspiration for a storyline that I’ve already started drafting and I hope to continue with it.
♡ Grow my Blog & Don’t Give it Up – I’ve stated many time before that growing my blog and creating a job out of it is a huge dream for me, which is why I can’t help but beat myself up over the fact that I had to step away for over a month do to anxiety issues. I just sit here and think about where my blog could be right now if I would’ve have just sucked it up and pushed through it, but there’s nothing I can do about that now. The only thing I can do is look ahead and stay positive that it’s not too late and I can grow it and still achieve my dream. My goal is to remain constant, positive, and to not give up this dream no matter how much doubt from others and my own self doubt comes. Hopefully by the end of Spring my blogging goals will have been met and I can start the process of becoming self hosted.
♡ Find Adventure – A big goal that I wish to accomplish this Spring is to find adventure no matter the place, setting, or time. I crave adventure constantly, so why not turn anything and everything into a magical adventure to remember?
♡ Be Free to Show the Real Me – For me this year is all about finding myself —who I truly am inside and embracing it one hundred percent. I’ve recently realized a few things about myself and I don’t want to hide that part of me anymore. I want to be free and not care what anyone thinks as I show the real me. I don’t want to walk around being “stiff” or pretending I’m someone I’m not. I no longer want to be afraid to let out the carefree, silly side of me because of thinking “what if someone judges me?” — I refuse to continue to live life and act according to other people’s standards.
♡ Start a Garden – This was a goal featured in my Angelic Goals for March post that I have not yet been able to start. Being that it’s been cold, snowy, or super rainy, (or all 4 seasons in a span of a weekend) I obviously couldn’t get started on my delightful little garden. However this is still something I wish to do this season and I have been thinking of the flowers I hope to grow!
♡ Go to a Strawberry Field – I would just adore a sunny, Spring day frolicking about in a field of delicious, fresh strawberries! I’ve went strawberry picking once before and absolutely loved it.
♡ Visit the Farmer’s Market – Spending a breezy day picking out fresh vegetables and fruits just sounds delightful to me!
♡ Gain the Confidence to Wear the things I’m Afraid to – Lately, along with my reasons for stepping away for awhile, my confidence has gone down way more than ever before. I would adore wearing darling little tank crop tops and dresses without feeling like I need to cover myself up in oversized cardigans and sweaters. As I’ve said before, I do have BDD and it has me feeling awful about myself. I hope to gain confidence to wear these things without feeling awful about myself.
♡ Have a Tea Party/Tea Date – As I’ve mention in my Angelic Goals for March post, I would still adore nothing more than to have a whimsical garden tea party. Surrounded by beautiful blooming flowers with the fresh spring breeze blowing about, a spring tea party would just be perfect. However, I have not yet been able to have one as it has still been quite chilly and there’s even still been some snow! I’d also adore to have a small tea date with someone where we have dainty snacks and delicious teas during a calm Sunday afternoon.
♡ Explore the Art of a City – While I may live up in the majestical mountains of Pennsylvania, I’m originally from Philly — a city known for its great history and art. Being so down and uninspired for so long has now led me to craving to explore some form of art, to walk around a city and just take it all in. I’ve always loved visiting the art museum. Walking up those famous steps that Rocky once ran and spending the day admiring all of the enchanting works of art. Skipping off to Love Park to see the incredible water fountain and taking a photo of the iconic Love statue. Even stopping by the Reading Terminal Market To take in the art of all the diverse foods and baked goods. I dream of exploring the city so badly.
♡ Enjoy the Nature – Whether it be frolicking through freshly bloomed wild daisies or peacefully sitting by a dreamy waterfall, I want to take in the beauty of nature. With it having been an extremely cold winter and snowy first half of Spring, I just dream of getting out and enjoying all the outdoors has to offer me.
♡ Plan a Trip Somewhere – Lately I’ve had the burning need to plan out a trip and to travel I would adore to make concrete plans for a whimsical adventure. I may not be able to drop everything and jet off to a beautiful place like Paris, but I can still plan something fun to satisfy my wanderlust needs.

Although I’ve been down lately, I’m still remaining positive that I can work on and achieve my Spring goals! I truly hope this post not only inspired you to create goals for the season, but also that it’s okay to not be okay. If you need to step away for a bit, that’s perfectly fine. Let yourself have a breather and remember, it might seem bad now and you might be so down, but you’ll pick yourself back up again when you’re ready. ♡

I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well. You are very inspiring for the way you pick yourself up and create new, wonderful goals♡
I share many of these goals for myself. Especially being able to wear what I love. I live in a small town where the main go to outfit is jeans or leggings, tshirt, and sneakers, so I feel rather silly prancing about in a dress. But I think I’m getting better at not caring as much about what other people may think.
